Training

TCCC is excited to announce the return of TBRI Caregiver Training (Virtual) to our network of partners and providers.  Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) is a holistic, trauma-informed approach to parenting developed by TCU’s Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development.  Training will be provided by our wonderful partners at Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services on a monthly cohort schedule.

This training will support *some* of the required 8 trauma-informed training hours required by DFPS.  Providers should still complete the required 2-hour trauma informed training from DFPS but may use the TBRI sessions to fulfill the remaining 6 hours.

Each TBRI cohort will include four virtual sessions and all needed materials for a total fee of $50. Cohorts will be provided throughout the year, but space is limited so register today!
